Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing
Administering our tests
On 18 July 2017 we ran a webinar for students preparing to take the BioMedical Admissions Test (BMAT) this year. With more than 200 students attending the live session, it gave participants a chance to hear more from our experts and interact with us.
Dave Harrison and Amy Unchern from Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing hosted the one-hour webinar. They spoke about the two BMAT test dates this year – in September and November – and then worked through some sample questions and explained the test section by section. With 234 attendees and more than 180 questions asked during the webinar, it showed how important opportunities like this are for students to ask questions and help feel more prepared ahead of their test.
Amy Unchern, Stakeholder Relations and Recognition Manager at Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing, said: “Webinars are a great way to reach a large number of people. There can be misconceptions about BMAT, so ensuring students hear the correct information, from our experts, is what matters the most.”
We were also joined by more than 20 Year-12 students who watched the webinar together live at Brighton and Sussex Medical School. They were on a four-day residential course as part of the BSMS widening participation programme BrightMed.
Registration for students to book their BMAT – September test is open until 18 August. The recording of our free BMAT webinar is now available to watch online and is just part of our wide range of free BMAT preparation materials.
