Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing
Administering our tests
You can take the test at any centre that administers MAT.
• If you are currently attending school or college: You can normally take the test at your school – check with your Exams Officer. lf your school is not already registered as a centre, they can apply to become a test centre – even if you are the only person taking a test.
We advise that you take the test at school, if possible, rather than at an alternative authorised test centre. These centres may charge an administration fee.
• If you are not attending school or college: You may be able to take the test at your old school – check with the Exams Officer. If this is not possible you will need to find an authorised test centre where you can take the test.
If you cannot find a test centre, please contact the Support Team.
You cannot register yourself for the MAT – you must be registered by a MAT centre.
Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing does not charge for the MAT, but some centres charge an administration fee – check with your centre.
Sunday 15 October 2017: Last date for MAT entries.
Entries will be accepted until 18.00 BST. Entries cannot be withdrawn after this date.
By registering for the test, you agree that data provided as part of the entry or admission process may be passed to any institution involved in your University application and that the data may be used for research purposes. You also agree that if you obtain a place on a course where the test results form part of the admissions process, then your University may supply Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing with data about your application and results in subsequent assessments at that University, unless you specifically notify the University in writing. We store personal data securely and will ensure if candidate data is used in publications or research that it is used anonymously.
