Administering our tests
The dates of the BMAT test cycle are designed to fit in with the Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS) cycle for Medicine and Veterinary Medicine applications.
Please note: we reserve the right to make changes to these dates.
Centres can start making entries from this date.
Standard entry fees apply until 17.00 BST on this date.
The Admissions Testing Service must receive all requests for reimbursement of BMAT fees by this date.
BMAT results will be released at 12 noon GMT. All results are released via our Results Online system.
Please note: We reserve the right to make changes to these costs. Some centres add an administration fee to BMAT's entry fee, which covers the cost of invigilation, despatch costs and room hire which are essential for running the test: contact your centre for details.
To find out the cost in a local currency, international candidates should contact their centre. Centres wishing to find out BMAT fees in Euros or US Dollars should contact the Admissions Testing Service.
If you’re applying to Thammasat University you need to visit the university’s website for current registration fees.
Institutions using BMAT want to make sure that the entry fee is not a barrier to access or widening participation. In some cases, we can reimburse BMAT's fee based on ability to pay. We reimburse standard entry fees to eligible candidates. You will need to pay your test centre your entry fee, which will be reimbursed to you if you are eligible for reimbursement. Late entry fees and administration fees cannot be reimbursed.
How can I get my fee reimbursed?
To apply for a reimbursement you need to complete the BMAT reimbursement application form. The reimbursement application deadline is 15 October 2016.
