Administering our tests
The Cambridge Personal Styles Questionnaire® (CPSQ) assesses a range of personal styles of behaving. It has been developed by the Admissions Testing Service through an extensive 4-year trial programme.
CPSQ supports values based recruitment for medicine, nursing and healthcare education and employment in the NHS.
Results are reported against seven healthcare-related competencies, which are aligned with the values of the NHS Constitution.
CPSQ captures information on applicants’ personal styles of behaving, which lie at the heart of successful university study and careers.
Results are reported against five general work and study competencies, which provide insights into an individual’s ways of working, studying, thinking and relating to others.
It can be used to select applicants most suited to a course/role, guide and monitor personal development, provide careers guidance and improve student/staff retention.
